On November 3, on-chain data from mempool.space showed that the Bitcoin address for Binance's disclosed User Security Asset Fund (SAFU) holds a balance of approximately 7,500 BTC.
Binance co-founder He Yi previously stated that half of the funds in the SAFU address would be used to cover losses, with the other half remaining in the fund. Binance's SAFU statement indicates that if the fund's market value drops below $800 million due to BTC price volatility, it will be replenished to $1 billion.
