Trump Administration Personnel Shakeup Begins as White House Deputy Chief of Staff Walters Steps Down

Nov 8, 11:55

On November 8, according to Axios, Richard Walters, deputy chief of staff at the White House, will depart from the Trump administration. He is the first senior official to leave amid an expected round of personnel adjustments as incoming White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller prepares to take over the operations team. As a trusted aide of outgoing Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Walters' departure marks the beginning of a leadership transition within the West Wing.

As Miller's team prepares to step into key roles, the internal personnel landscape at the White House will also shift. Walters is one of Wiles's closest political aides, with their professional relationship spanning more than a decade. Sources indicated that Walters submitted his resignation on Friday, and following amicable discussions, both sides agreed to his departure. (Jinshi)
