Goldman Sachs Launches $1.5 Trillion US Innovation Infrastructure Plan, Focusing on AI and Other Emerging Technologies
August 11th, Morgan Stanley announced the launch of the "U.S. Innovation Infrastructure Initiative," planning to mobilize around $1.5 trillion in capital raise, financing, advisory, and related investment activities over the next 10 years to support the next phase of U.S. economic growth. The plan will focus on strategic areas such as artificial intelligence, advanced computing, quantum technology, semiconductors, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, aerospace, defense, critical minerals, and promote digital, physical, and energy infrastructure development.
Morgan Stanley stated that the initiative aims to support the development of businesses, technologies, and platforms critical to the U.S. economy and national security, integrating its investment banking, capital markets, wealth management, and investment management capabilities to support companies from startup to scale-up.
