August 11th. According to South Korea's Chosun Ilbo, Kiwoom Securities in South Korea has simultaneously lowered the target stock prices of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Recently, the market has been concerned that the general memory chip industry's prosperity has peaked out, and more and more securities companies have started to downgrade their target stock price expectations for South Korea's "two major leading companies," Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.

According to news from South Korea's financial investment industry on the 11th, Kiwoom Securities lowered the target stock price of Samsung Electronics from the original 390,000 KRW to 350,000 KRW the day before, and lowered the target stock price of SK Hynix from 2,200,000 KRW to 2,100,000 KRW. However, the investment recommendations for both stocks remain "Buy."

The report pointed out that the trend of lowering target prices in South Korea's securities industry has been evident since the end of last month. At the end of last month, following the controversy over whether the semiconductor industry's prosperity had peaked and the release of SK Hynix's second-quarter financial report, major brokerages such as Future Asset Securities, NH Investment & Securities, and Samsung Securities have successively lowered the target prices of these two stocks by around 30%.
