Aug 13, 11:29

August 13th. According to an official announcement, Bitget has added 25 new stock spot rTokens, including rHPQ (HP), rRL (Ralph Lauren), rBAP (Credicorp), rCTSH (Cognizant), and rDOW (Dow Chemical), covering multiple sectors such as finance, consumer goods, and utilities. So far, Bitget platform now supports a total of 660 U.S. stock tokens.

It is reported that the rTokens, identified by the letter r + stock symbol (e.g., rNVDA for Nvidia), are issued by Bitget's licensed RWA protocol Reality. These tokens are directly connected to global liquidity pools such as Nasdaq and NYSE through a partnership with the compliant brokerage Alpaca. The key features include: a 1:1 reserve of underlying assets held by a licensed custodian, distribution of stock dividends in token form at a 1:1 ratio, support for corporate actions (stock splits, mergers, etc.) in sync with the actual stocks, and the ability for positions to serve as collateral for a unified account and U-denominated contracts, allowing users to hold global stock assets while still managing funds flexibly.
