Standard Chartered Signs Agreement to Fully Acquire Zodia Custody, Pending Regulatory Approval

October 21: Standard Chartered Bank has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% equity of crypto custodian Zodia Custody, with the transaction still subject to regulatory approval.

Under the arrangement, Standard Chartered Bank will integrate Zodia's custody business, while its software business will be transferred to an independent company under SC Ventures.
