Analyst: Bitcoin's supply in profit falls back to 53.8%, investors broadly on the sidelines

October 20 — Crypto analyst Darkfost noted that Bitcoin is currently in a period full of doubt, with investors broadly adopting a wait-and-see attitude. Although the market's profitability has rebounded slightly, it is not yet enough for holders to feel they are making solid profits and thus drive the market further. This state corresponds to the range where "50% of supply is in profit." The ratio had previously briefly broken above 60% and has now fallen back to 53.8%. This behavior is normal at the end of a bear market: after the capitulation phase in which supply in profit fell below 40%, it takes time to climb back above the 50% threshold, rebuild investor confidence and attract new demand. For now, patience is still needed for market behavior to stabilize before supply in profit can be consistently consolidated.
