Avail Launches ShieldTX Privacy Trading Tool on Hyperliquid, Opening a Separate Wallet per Position to Evade Copy-Trading Bots
October 28: According to The Block, Avail has announced the launch of ShieldTX. Aimed at Hyperliquid traders, the tool creates a new standalone wallet each time a perpetual contract position is opened, making it hard for copy-trading bots to link those positions to the same trader. ShieldTX analyzed 332,317 wallets that traded on Hyperliquid over 30 days and found that the median extra execution cost per trade for top traders who get copied was 63 basis points. User deposits are held in a vault contract on Arbitrum, built on Avail's zero-knowledge privacy infrastructure Nightshade. The private beta began in July with 75 traders participating, about $50 million in trading volume and more than 3,800 wallets created. The product is now open on an invite-code basis, mainly targeting wallets with trading volume above $500,000, with discounts available for AVAIL stakers.
