October 30: Polymarket Traders posted on X that it has identified and fixed an issue affecting its international platform Polymarket.com, caused by the compromise of one of its third-party service providers. The matter has been referred to relevant law enforcement authorities, and all affected users will be fully compensated. As a precaution, the platform has temporarily suspended trading and is working to restore service. Previously, multiple Polymarket users said assets in their accounts were transferred out without authorization, with trader Car claiming roughly $800,000 was stolen. As of publication, the platform has not disclosed the name of the service provider involved or the total amount of losses.
