Xie Jiayin: The Tongxing Program has cumulatively covered over 2.2 million participants, with reward distributions totaling $3.49 million.
On October 8, Bitget hosted an in-person event to mark its eighth anniversary. Xie Jiayin, Head of Greater China, reflected on the platform's eight-year journey, noting that Bitget has evolved from a standalone cryptocurrency exchange into an Universal Exchange (UEX) encompassing diverse scenarios including stocks, commodities, and AI trading. As of Q2, non-crypto assets accounted for 40% of the platform's trading volume, with roughly one in four new users beginning their Bitget journey via rToken.
For the next phase, Xie Jiayin said Bitget will continue to advance its UEX strategy by expanding into more diverse assets and trading scenarios, while enhancing institutional-grade custody and OTC settlement infrastructure to meet the distinct needs of various institutions through flexible custody and settlement solutions. Institutional services will also continue to be a key strategic pillar for Bitget moving forward.
During the event, Bitget also unveiled the latest distribution progress for the third cohort of its "Co-Journey Program" rewards, with cumulative payouts totaling $3,495,658 to 2,277,318 recipients. Xie Jiayin added that the platform aims to put "users first" into practice through continuous product development, service upgrades, and user appreciation initiatives.
