Trump Says Russia Will Supply Millions of Tons of Diesel to U.S. and Global Markets
On October 10, according to jin10 data, US President Trump stated that he had just concluded talks with Russian President Putin and reached an agreement. Both parties agreed that Russia would immediately supply over 300,000 tons of diesel to the US and global markets, with an additional 500,000 tons added in November, followed by an immediate increase of 1 million tons. Additionally, Russia will provide an extra 3 million tons of diesel in the short term, contingent on the actual operating status of its refineries.
Trump noted that, in conjunction with control over the Strait of Hormuz and this energy agreement, diesel prices in the US and globally are expected to decline rapidly at a record pace. He emphasized that reducing living costs for the public, including farmers, ranchers, and truck drivers, is his top priority, while reiterating his stance that Iran must never possess nuclear weapons.
