Dubai DIFC Courts Integrate with Avalanche Blockchain for Second-Level Verification of Cross-Border Documents
On October 14, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Court announced the adoption of Avalanche blockchain technology to provide globally verifiable digital authenticity credentials for its court orders and hearing records. By binding document cryptographic hashes to unique NFT credentials on the Avalanche C-Chain, the system enables any organization to verify document authenticity within seconds without contacting the court. File contents and confidential information remain off-chain to maintain complete privacy.
Avalanche settles transactions in under one second, and records cannot be rolled back. Additionally, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) of the UAE is collaborating with Ava Labs to introduce Avalanche technology into the blockchain layer of the Digital Vault on UAE PASS, the national digital identity platform serving over 12.5 million users, further advancing the UAE's construction of a trusted on-chain verification system for government documents.
