PopDEX fully launches, introducing a weekly unlimited on-chain rolling prize pool for real traders.

On October 19, PopDEX announced the official launch of its Open Beta, enabling users to trade on the platform without an invitation code. As a decentralized perpetual contracts trading platform focused on traders, PopDEX was incubated and funded with $30 million by Foresight Ventures. It is committed to delivering a CEX-grade on-chain trading experience for real traders through lower net trading costs, a CLOB order book, on-chain transparent execution, unified accounts, and multi-asset markets.

Concurrently, PopDEX introduced MegaPop, an on-chain trading lottery mechanism. The initial prize pool received a $150,000 USDT injection from the team, with 40% of the platform's net trading fees subsequently directed into the pool. Unclaimed winnings each week will automatically roll over to the following period, driving unlimited prize pool growth aligned with trading volume. Rewards are distributed weekly in stablecoins, recording user trading vouchers while eliminating the need to wait for point exchanges or a future TGE.

Each participation voucher in MegaPop offers an independent winning opportunity, allowing low-volume traders to qualify for top-tier rewards. Draw outcomes are generated from public Bitcoin block data, ensuring complete transparency and verifiability. In the first six weeks of the Open Beta, qualifying trades earn a 2x boost on participation vouchers; once cumulative vouchers reach 300,000, PopDEX will add another $100,000 USDT to the pool.

Prior to this, PopDEX completed six rounds of cash reward distributions during its Closed Beta phase, achieving over $4.5B+ in cumulative trading volume and an LP pool size of approximately $70M. The platform stated that MegaPop represents the first long-term, open, and verifiable productized implementation of its “100% Value Return” philosophy, and will continue to channel value back to genuine contributors through additional mechanisms, rebates, community initiatives, and ecosystem incentives.
