ESMA Adds 9 Crypto Asset Service Providers Including BingX and YouHodler

On October 19, according to Cointelegraph, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) added nine crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) to its updated registration list under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), bringing the total number of registered entities to 375. The new additions include MEGE zweite, the Austrian entity of cryptocurrency exchange BingX, and the Italian subsidiary of the crypto lending platform YouHodler (approved to provide custody, crypto-asset exchange, order execution, and transfer services).

Additionally, Openbank Deutschland, the German subsidiary of Spanish bank Santander; Spanish Prakma Markets; and German cooperative banks VR-Bank Alb-Blau-Donau and VR Bank im südlichen Franken have also been included in the compliance registry. Meanwhile, Denmark's Penning Financial Services has been removed from the list.
