MiniMax Claims Space Bunny, M3.1 Flash Official Release Coming Soon

On October 19, the official MiniMax account released a short video captioned "Welcome back, Space Bunny." This move is considered an official acknowledgment of the anonymous model Space Bunny.

After going live in late September, the model topped the daily Token usage rankings on both OpenRouter and OpenCode within three days, placing it in the top three alongside DeepSeek V4.1 Flash and GLM 5.3 Flash.

Reports indicate that Space Bunny is an early version of the MiniMax M3.1 Flash model, which is set to be officially released soon.
