Aethir Announces Major Update to ATH Tokenomics: Daily Burn Mechanism Launches in November, with Burn Volume Directly Tied to Actual Network Revenue
According to official announcements, Aethir today announced a major adjustment to the ATH tokenomics. Starting in November 2026, the platform will daily extract a portion of network fees to burn ATH tokens, permanently sending them to a public burn address (0x000...dEaD), with the burn volume fluctuating based on actual network compute usage.
Meanwhile, the fixed platform fee will be replaced by a dynamic network fee, with rates reading market conditions in real-time via TWAP, decreasing during weak markets while increasing the burn proportion. The Cloud Host emission schedule remains unaffected, with fees capped to never exceed Host reward values. A burn dashboard will launch concurrently with the first burn, and the mechanism has been audited by CertiK.
