Solana Foundation: Core Mission is to Attract Talent and Capital, Will Not Support a Single Team through "Memeification"

August 11th, Solana Foundation President Lily Liu stated that the foundation's core goal is to attract talent and capital to Solana. They will not engage in "hero worship" to support a single team and do not agree with mechanically applying "trustless neutrality" to ecosystem governance. Instead, they advocate for open competition and let the market determine success or failure.

She mentioned that the foundation has long supported multiple perpetual contract teams, believing that fully on-chain Perpetuals are more valuable to DeFi and Solana in the long term than AMM trading or off-chain execution. Currently, several teams are working on related experiments.
