Analyst: If Bitcoin breaks through the $82,000 resistance level, it could accelerate toward $90,000

October 18 — Analyst Michaël van de Poppe noted that Bitcoin's price action is becoming increasingly narrow. This means volatility is declining and the price range is also tightening. A major move is coming, but before it begins, there may first be a "fakeout." This "fakeout" could touch the "blue zone" marked on the chart (i.e., below $80,000). The price has already touched it once before, so it would not be surprising if it touches it again, as this is the ideal entry area. If Bitcoin can break through the key resistance level of $82,000, the move will begin to accelerate and is very likely to push toward $90,000.
