OpenPayd Plans to List on Nasdaq by Year-End to Support U.S. Expansion
On October 4, CoinDesk reported that global payment solution provider OpenPayd announced it is working toward an official listing on the Nasdaq through a merger with SPAC entity Titan Acquisition Corp. by the end of 2026. CEO Iana Dimitrova stated that the primary purpose of this listing is to raise capital for the company's upcoming expansion into the U.S. market and potential acquisition activities.
OpenPayd is currently in the final stages of review by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding the merger agreement, with the transaction expected to close within the year. Following the listing, its shares will trade under the ticker "OP." Dimitrova noted that in addition to leveraging the capital markets, the company will also use publicly traded shares as a form of payment for M&A deals, thereby accelerating the acquisition of required business licenses and technological resources.
As a payment gateway bridging traditional financial institutions and crypto asset platforms, OpenPayd has secured money transmitter licenses in 43 U.S. states and generated $73 million in revenue during its latest fiscal year. Its infrastructure primarily provides fiat deposit and withdrawal, foreign exchange conversion, and stable on-chain settlement services for prominent cryptocurrency exchanges such as OKX and Kraken.
