Iran's New Defense Minister Responds to Trump's "Mother of All Bombs" Threat: See How Many U.S. Soldiers Will Be Carried Out on Stretchers From the Region
On October 18, Iran's parliament approved Ahraji to serve as the country's new defense minister. Ahraji has worked in Iran's defense industry for decades and previously held senior positions in aerospace and missile development. He has been sanctioned by the United States and the European Union due to his work in Iran's defense sector. In a policy agenda submitted to lawmakers, Ahraji pledged to rebuild Iran's military-industrial infrastructure, accelerate defense technology R&D, and expand collaboration with private enterprises.
"If this enemy commits another strategic miscalculation, the heroic Iranian people and Islamic fighters will deliver an unexpected and widespread response," he said. He also noted that Tehran has taken necessary measures to counter a potential US deployment of the "Mother of All Bombs" against Iran. Ahraji added, "The US president should focus on ensuring the safe withdrawal of American troops from our region. If he drops a bomb, he should see how many US soldiers end up carried out of this region feet first." (Jinshi)
