Pharos Network Announces Brand Refresh and Agent Native Upgrade, Putting Real-World Value to Work

HONG KONG, Sept. 30, 2026 — Financial-grade Layer 1 public chain Pharos Network announced at Blockchain Week Korea that it will launch a coordinated Agent Native upgrade across its protocol and product ecosystem, combining already-live Sponsored Transactions on testnet with a new AI product experience for users and developers. The refresh encompasses the Agent Native upgrade for the Pharos testnet, the Pharos Port Agent Widget supporting natural language RealFi interactions, the AI capability portal ai.pharos.xyz, Anvita Mate × Pharos, and a new roadmap toward an Agent-Native Chain. These upgrades and products will roll out progressively starting during Blockchain Week Korea.

In the past two years, AI Agents have rapidly moved from concept to product deployment off-chain, yet their on-chain applications remain constrained by factors such as insufficient reusable Skill assets, unstable payment capabilities, and immature inter-Agent collaboration mechanisms. Pharos believes the value of AI Agents should not stop at answering questions but should further manifest as operational capabilities as native on-chain economic entities—such as holding assets, invoking tools, collaborating with other Agents, and completing payments for their own operations. This requires both a Layer 1 infrastructure capable of supporting high-frequency, low-cost, composable Agent behaviors, and product entry points that connect these capabilities to real-world workflows.

This direction aligns seamlessly with Pharos’s RealFi mission, which not only brings real-world value on-chain but also ensures this value can be put to actual use. Alongside this upgrade, Pharos is refreshing its brand with “Put Real-World Value to Work” as its core proposition, “Built for the Agentic Economy” as its foundation, and a focus on putting real value to work by humans and agents together. These three pillars correspond respectively to Pharos’s brand mission, the infrastructure supporting that mission, and the intended user experience, all concretely realized through this protocol upgrade and product launch.

At the protocol level, this direction is first manifested in the initial Agent Native architecture introduced on the Pharos testnet. The specific capability delivered in this upgrade is Sponsored Transactions—which decouples “who initiates the transaction” from “who pays the gas,” allowing applications or authorized sponsors to cover transaction fees while preserving the original sender. This architecture addresses the demand divergence between existing blockchain account and transaction models and a new class of users: the former is primarily designed around human users, while the latter consists of software entities that require continuous operation, permission management, payment execution, and on-chain system interaction within predefined boundaries. Pharos’s broader Agent Native architectural vision covers native Agent accounts, sponsored transactions, programmable authorization, Agent-compatible payment capabilities (including x402-style payment interactions), Agent identity (KYA), and Specialized Processing Networks (SPN), among others. Pharos emphasizes that these areas describe the overall architectural development trajectory, with related capabilities to be continuously iterated and rolled out in phases.

On the user side, complementary to the underlying infrastructure is a shift toward intent-driven interactions. Users no longer need to manually execute every step within an application; instead, they can directly state the goals they wish to achieve. Through the Pharos Port Agent Widget, users can make operational requests such as querying real-world asset holdings, vault maturity dates, yield rates, and redemption windows. The Agent understands these requests, prepares the corresponding actions, and integrates RealFi information retrieval and operational preparation into a single conversational experience.

For developers, the newly launched super-entry point ai.pharos.xyz will aggregate capabilities such as the Pharos Chain MCP, Developer Docs MCP, and official SkillEngine. Working alongside the simultaneously released Anvita Mate × Pharos, it places this entire suite of capabilities into local AI environments, enabling developers to access the tools needed to build on Pharos without leaving their workspace.

Published alongside the brand refresh is Pharos’s future roadmap: In Q4 2026, the PoS staking program will go live, and the Gas sponsorship program will enter the testnet; in 2027, Agent accounts, Agent-facing trading interfaces, and State Economy will gradually move to deployment; by 2028, Pharos aims to support end-to-end Agent-Native workflows.

Wish Wu, Co-founder and CEO of Pharos Network, stated, “A brand refresh is far more than simply changing a visual identity. It’s about clearly articulating what Pharos has always been doing and helping everyone better understand how our RealFi enables real-world value to come on-chain. Agent Native changes how people interact with this value. As the platform providing the foundational infrastructure below, we aren’t just slapping an AI feature onto the application layer; we are empowering new economic participants like Agents with the ability to create accounts, authorize actions, and handle payments. Today, these three lines finally converge.”

This launch marks Pharos moving beyond treating AI Agents merely as an interface on the application layer, instead taking steps toward establishing mature blockchain infrastructure that allows Agents to participate as native economic entities under defined rules.

About Pharos Network

Pharos Network is a value discovery layer built for the Agentic Economy, dedicated to making real-world value, AI Agents, and institutional-grade assets openly accessible to everyone.

Designed specifically for high-performance RealFi and programmable financial markets, Pharos integrates deep parallel execution powered by the SALI engine, modular Specialized Processing Networks (SPN), protocol-level compliance infrastructure, and native AI Agent support (compatible with the x402 standard), while remaining fully compatible with both EVM and WASM. This architecture is built to support internet-scale markets covering real-world assets, stablecoins, cross-border settlements, on-chain yields, and Agent-mediated commerce.

The Pharos mainnet, Pacific Ocean, went live in April 2026. Pharos collaborates with a Global RealFi Alliance and financial infrastructure partners—including Circle, Chainlink, Anchorage Digital, Centrifuge, Morpho, and others—to advance ecosystem development, connecting regulated capital markets with on-chain liquidity venues. Additionally, Pharos has established a $10 million Builder Incubation Program to support early-stage teams focused on RealFi and AI. Built by a core engineering team and former executives from Ant Group, Pharos has secured global institutional investment from traditional finance and crypto sectors, including Sumitomo Corporation, Flow Traders, SNZ, Hack VC, and Faction VC.
