Musk: AI Will Account for 99% of SpaceX's Valuation, Aiming to Achieve 10 Gigawatts of Computing Power by the End of Next Year
August 12th, Musk stated that AI has become a "critically important part" of SpaceX's future, with the company's AI revenue expected to surpass all other revenue streams in September, "significantly exceed" other revenue streams in the fourth quarter, and Musk said that AI would account for 99% of SpaceX's valuation in 5 years.
SpaceX has established the "world's most powerful AI training cluster" and plans to increase its current computing power scale by about tenfold by the end of next year, aiming to reach 10 gigawatts, corresponding to a potential annual income of $300 billion to $500 billion. He also predicted that Starlink is expected to carry over 90% of global internet traffic in the future.
At the same time, Musk stated that SpaceX plans to use all employee information to train Grok, and employees will become the "parents" of AI, with their thoughts, ideas, and beliefs being inherited by the model. However, he did not elaborate further on how exactly employee information would be used for training.
